About Us
Honduras is located in Central
America and borders Nicaragua, El Salvador and
Guatemala. It is one of the poorest countries
in the western hemisphere. One out of five
people cannot read and the income per capita is
approximately $3,100 per year.
Subsequently, one out of five Hondurans cannot read.
Catacamas is a town of
approximately 32,000 people located in the mountains
about a four hour drive from the nearest airport, in
Tegucigalpa.
